Should I buy the R15 M?
The Yamaha R15 M is a premium variant of the entry-level sports bike R15 V4. It looks similar to the V4 but it is differentiated via different cosmetics like new colours, new graphics, etc. The prominent feature of the R15 M is the standard availability of the quickshifter & traction control system. However, the engine performance & the features are similar to the V4. We recommend the R15 M for those who want a special-looking R15 with more track-oriented features. But, if you’ll be using it mostly outside the track, then the V4 offers more value for money.
Design, Comfort, & Size

The design of R15 M is its strongest selling point. It is inspired by the R7 sports bike and the outlook of it makes it stand apart in the crowd. All thanks to the big sports bike design, it is an eye candy on the road. Also, the single LED headlight at the front with aero dams in the fairing gives it a big bike feel in all true ways.
Comfort-wise, there are better bikes in its segment. It is a sports bike and hence comfort is not the priority of its design. The aggressive riding posture is only good for short-distance rides. If you want a comfortable bike with similar capabilities, we suggest you try the MT-15 V2 which is essentially a naked version of the R15.
The dimensions of the R15 M are another strong point of its design. One can not miss the R15 M on the road; such is its road presence. Also, due to the wide front profile, it looks like a bigger sports bike from a distance. At the rear, the 140 profile tyre with raised tail height, makes it look like a bigger bike than it actually is.
