On Cevheri Güven's 'Hanefi Avcı' video
Journalist Cevheri Güven's video, titled "How the State Dismantled the Gülen Movement," was orchestrated against me by social media users close to the Gülen Movement. Twitter is rife with accusations that this video refutes my series of articles titled "How the Gülen Movement was dragged step by step from within to the July 15th coup." However, this video has nothing to do with my series. There's no reason for me to respond to it, but when even people I've met and spoken with sent me the video and asked, "What do you think?", I thought I'd better say something. It was a kind of conversation. I can say it was an opportunity to explain once again what I was trying to achieve and what my goals were with this series.
