This video shows installation of Rexing dual dashcam or 2 camera Front & Back dashcam in a l3-row vehicle with rear lift gate. I installed it in my Honda Odyssey minivan. Same process applies to SUVs or other large vehicles.

THE ONE I CHOSE:
Rexing V1LG, dual dashcam, https://amzn.to/2PrlaHt
In 2024: Rexing V1P 4K, https://amzn.to/3LUsIj6

There are many reasons to install a dashcam, in my case it was to have a video evidence in case of an accident. There are tons of dash cams available with different features and at different prices. I have used two single camera (front facing camera) dash-cams in the last year so I was looking for the following features:

MY SELECTION CRITERIA:
A camera that always work -won’t randomly turn off
Fix Firmly on the screen - No suction mounts
Clear picture, not fuzzy or grainy
Works in low light and at night
Uses at least 64 GB memory cards (longer record time)
Small foot print so is easy keep hidden
Has a screen so I know it is working / ON
2-channel / 2 camera / front & back camera
Records in parking mode based on motion-sensor
Costs about $150 +/-

TIME REQUIRED:
1 hour!
Most to run wire to the rear lift-gate and conceal it

RESULTS:
After about a month of use, I like it!
It powers on when vehicle is started and, stays on.
Records front & back views,
Powers off when vehicle is off
Has Parking mode that works off of motion sensors
It very small size and has amazing night time video
