Hey guys! In this video, I’m going to show you how to fix the “Unknown Structure” error in Unreal Engine 5. It’s a very common issue that often appears when packaging your project — and lately, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about it.
If this has happened to you, don’t worry! In this tutorial, I’ll explain step by step why it happens and how to fix it easily.
The Unknown Structure error appears when you make changes to a structure (Struct)—for example, if you add, remove, or rename variables—but don’t update the Blueprints where that structure is being used.
It can also occur due to version incompatibility, such as when opening a project created in a different version of Unreal Engine 5.
The solution is very simple:
Copy the path of the Blueprint that shows the error.
Paste it into the Content Drawer to locate it quickly.
Open it, go to the top menu, select File, and click Refresh All Nodes.
Save your changes.
Remember to repeat this process for every Blueprint that shows this error.
