In the first week of Dec 2020, Red Hat announced that it was going to stop releasing further versions of CentOS as the stable version of RHEL. This step has created a lot of heartburn in the enterprise user community. CentOS stream project is going to be a beta version of RHEL and that is not going to solve the original purpose of CentOS.
