To support my efforts to create more clips please donate to me at www.patreon.com/allinaday. The speaker is the civil rights leader and journalist Roger Wilkins. I did this interview with him in 1989. He comes from Kansas City. He was a journalist at the Washington Post and the New York Times for many years and also did work on NPR. In 1973, he won a Pulitzer Prize. I picked him for my TV series because of his clearly outspoken points of view and storytelling style.
