Torun is a city, which is famous for being the place of birth of Nicolaus Copernicus. We will come across a lot of souvenirs after a great astronomer here. The most important testimony of his legacy, we will find, however, several kilometres outside the city. Right here, in Piwnice, the Centre of Astronomy of the University of Nicolaus Copernicus is located.
