Fun fact: this was supposed to be a small side project, maybe about 1-2 days while I worked on larger animations, but this tooK OVER 5 MONTHS.
I started this in November 2022, and didn’t pick it up again till June 2023

Q: why does Mika have a gun
A: funny
Q: why is Mika animated like that?
A: I don’t know. I ran out of ideas. God help me. I also think it feels very alien and inhuman, but I worked on this for 5+ months and I would rather implode that animate this again
Q: why does the gun look like that?
A: I don’t know
I took my headcannons for their designs and put them in here, (pretty much that the black box on Mika’s face is an infinite storage portal). Aztro is so unusually hard to draw, something always feels off about my interpretation of her persona. I look at it and all I can think is that 1. It doesn’t look like an astronaut and 2. I took away the whimsy, the joy, her sparkle D: I would redesign her, but then again, I would rather implode than have to animate this all over again. I think the animation is a bit too busy, and if I was to redo this again, I would make apandah and aztro move less, to draw less attention to them and more focus to Mika and Schlatt (and to save time).
