Electroconvulsive Therapy
Severe depression and its various treatments - talk therapy, multiple medications, and electro-convulsive therapy - may not be the most obvious topic for a rock musical. However, the Tony Award winning play, "Next to Normal," currently on stage in Toronto, delivers both as great theatre and a window into the mental health issues faced by sufferers and their families. The Agenda welcomes and actor from the play and two mental health practitioners to discuss this important issue.
