On February 28, 1986, around 11 PM, after a movie at the cinema, Olof and Lisbeth Palme walked home. Olof paused slightly near the artist's shop, while his wife managed to walk a few steps ahead. Hearing a loud bang, she turned around and saw her husband lying on the pavement, a pool of crimson blood beneath him. As she ran toward her husband, Lisbeth caught sight of a tall man in a black cloak and cap, clutching a heavy revolver. As Lisbeth leaned over Olof, another shot rang out. Fortunately, the gunman missed, and the bullet only grazed the woman's arm. That day was dubbed "Sweden's Loss of Innocence" because none other than the Prime Minister was killed.
