2023 Elan Ripstick 106 - Ski Review
We've tested the Ripstick 106 in a variety of snow conditions and parts of North America and it continues to stand out at the front of the pack in this category. The 2023 Ripstick 106 got an updated top sheet that adds to durabilty and looks incredible. It is without a doubt one of the most impressive all mountain skis over 105mm in width. Light enough to go for a tour, strong enough to grip the ice at Cannon Mountain in NH, enough rocker to float when you head outwest while still maintaining an almost effortless feel no matter how dicey the terrain may get. It needs to be emphasized that these arc a MEAN turn, at any speed, considering the width of these skis. The low speed accessibility also makes the Ripstick a great option if you're out cruising around on some low angle terrain and allows it to feel nimble and easy to flick around in tighter terrain without the ski feeling nervous if you want to push it.
