NEW CROCHET BEANIE PATTERN ▶ This new crochet beanie pattern is a very simple to make and should only take an hour or two. This pattern is made for someone with a smaller head, but you can add additional rows to the end of the beanie to make this more suitable for a normal-sized head if you would like.

Easy Bead Stitch Ribbed Beanie Pattern:
Crochet Hook: H/8/5.00MM
Yarn: 4 Medium, Wool, Cascade Yarns (Lavender Heather)

Attach yarn to crochet hook using a Magic Circle (MC).
Row 1: CH 3 and place 11 DC inside MC. SL st in 1st DC to join.
Row 2: Place 2 BACK POST stitches in each st in the row, starting with current st and ending with CH 3 at the end of the row. SL st in 1st BACK POST st to join (24 total BACK POST st).
Row 3: CH 2, working in the last BACK POST st from Row 2, place 1 BEAD st. *Skip the next st you haven’t worked, and place 1 DC in the following st. Work a BEAD st in the skipped st.* Repeat * around the row (36 total BEAD st). SL st in the top of the 1st BEAD st to join.
Row 4: CH 3, then add a DC to the current st. Place 2 DC in the following st. *1 DC in the next 2 st, then 2 DC in the following st.* Repeat * around the row (48 total DC st).
Row 5: Place *1 BACK POST st in the first 3 st in the row, starting with current st, then place 2 BACK POST st in the 4th st. Place 1 BACK POST st in the next 3 st, then 2 BACK POST st in the 4th.* Repeat * around the row, ending with CH 3 at the end of the row. SL st in 1st BACK POST st to join (60 total BACK POST st).
Row 6: CH 2, then working in the last BACK POST st from Row 5, place 1 BEAD st. *Skip the next 2 st that you haven’t worked, then place 1 DC in the 3rd st. Working in the 1st skipped st, place 1 BEAD st. Skip the next st that you haven’t worked and place 1 DC in the 2nd st. Working in the skipped st, place 1 BEAD st.* Repeat * around the row (24 total BEAD st, or 72 st). SL st in the top of the 1st BEAD st to join.
Row 7: CH 3, then place 1 DC back in current st. Place 1 DC in each st in the row (71 total DC st). SL st in 1st DC to join.
Row 8: Place 1 BACK POST st in each st in the row, starting with the current st and ending with the CH 3 at the end of the row (72 total BACK POST st ).
Row 9: CH 2, then working in the 2nd to last BACK POST st from Row 8, place 1 BEAD ST. *Skip the next 2 st that you haven’t already worked, then place 1 DC in the 3rd st. Working in the 1st skipped st, place 1 BEAD st.* Repeat ** around the row (24 total BEAD st or 72 st). SL st in top of the 1st BEAD st to join.
Rows 10 - 21: Repeat Rows 7 - 9.
At the end of Row 21, insert crochet hook in the top of the 1st BEAD st, cut yarn, and pull yarn tail through all the loops on the crochet hook to tie off yarn.
