Welcome to my Let's Play of Final Fantasy 7. This is the 2020 remake of one of the greatest games ever made. I was initially reluctant to play it because, in my humble opinion, the original is a masterpiece and didn’t really need improving. But I also know that it released to critical acclaim and have heard nothing but good things about it. And, with the release of Rebirth, the timing feels right. Honestly, my heart swells with emotion at the thought of playing it again. This is sure to be a rollercoaster of nostalgia, as I relive my childhood all over again.

"There’s not many games that make me emotional at the mere mention of their name, but Final Fantasy 7 is definitely one of them. I bought the original back in 1997, when I was 13 years old, along with my mates, and over the course of the year, we all secretly competed with each other to be the first one to complete it. Those were simpler times back then. And even though I wasn’t the first, my mates were still there, regardless, to watch me beat Sephiroth and complete the game. They were also there for the death of a certain character and tears were flowing that night, let me tell you. It was the first game that I ever got emotionally attached to. The story, the characters, the locations and Nobuo Uematsu’s enchanting music, touched me in ways I never thought possible for a teenager. The game truly is work of art, a masterpiece, and one that cemented my love of gaming forever.”
