Why not the whole piece, you ask. Well I did learn most of it but ran out of patience trying to tab it out by ear and there's no way I could ever do it justice compared to the great man himself. But I uploaded this as a really good picking exercise - and to demonstrate how some tunes are deceptively hard to play. I'm often asked about 'picking patterns' like there is some universal rule that every bar has to adhere to the same pattern. This intro is based on three easy chords but you have make your picking hand work like crazy to avoid falling into the 'what's the pattern' trap.
