The WORST Possible Decision - Square Enix
Square Enix has decided to sell a large chunk of its games (and studios) to Embracer Group in order to finance further expansion. However, staying true to their 5 year history of pushing the technology, these new ventures will be aimed at Blockchain, and NFTs.
That decision, for a multitude of reasons, may be catastrophic for them, as the gaming community rejects the concept, and the community proves to be smaller, and more volatile than expected.
