We were founded by Clint Borgen in 2003 and are based out of Seattle, Washington. We have volunteers in 754 cities.
Today's video is about our methodology here at The Borgen Project. We operate by:
1. Congressional Relations. We meet and work with elected US officials in order to gain support for legislation that will help reduce global poverty.
2. Mobilize. We mobilize people all around the world to help us succeed in our mission to make global poverty a focus of US foreign policy.
3. Educate. We educate people on how to get in contact with their officials and make a difference.
4. Issue Message. We work to build awareness of global poverty and what citizens can do to help reduce it.
