Education in Afghanistan
This video discusses the many achievements in the Afghan education system since 2001. During the Taliban regime in 2001, Afghanistan had less than 900,000 students—all of them boys. Today the number has increased more than tenfold, with girls forming almost 38 percent—3.5 million—of students. Education in post-Taliban Afghanistan is one of the most significant achievements of the country.
