At noon, we exhale and wish for sweet treats and tea-time chatter.
At night, our hearts dance at a feast—grateful, and wishing for tomorrow again.
To “wish” is life itself.
Small wishes swell like balloons,
and in time become bigger wishes.
Bigger wishes come with mirages,
like clouds sketched across the sky,
and in time become bigger dreams.
Dreams become hope,
aiming for a future beyond tomorrow.
And the wishes that move toward that hope—
we call them “Koi.”
“Koi” means: almost soundless, barely existing.
So I chose to put those “Koi” into words,
to weave them into song,
and to leave them for the future.
“Kiryca” is a song of wishing.
And it is a song for living.
