Visual Studio Code & openHAB 3 | Smart Home Tutorial | openHAB Text Editor
This video is a small update to the Visual Studio Code tutorial because the connection and authentication between OH2 and OH3 has changed.
In order to be able to display the text files in openHAB 3 more beautifully, the program Visual Studio Code has an extension that enables openHAB syntax errors to be highlighted, to switch to a split-screen mode, to select ready-made templates for items and to display a preview of the BasicUI.
In this video I show you how to connect the program with openHAB 3, install the extension and use the basics of the program.
