flametal mining with basalt bombs: valheim ashlands
i had previously made some elaborate scaffolds and other contraptions to try to throw stacks of flametal out of my inventory while mining to free up space, but then i realized that the flametal floats, so you may as well use all the time to knock loose as much as you can. then, you can sweep the ground for what you mined.
with the flametal armor's heat resistance, feather cape, and fire res potion, you can touch the lava surface a little bit without dying. picking up the ore isnt easy, because the basalt platforms float a bit too high, but it can be done.
this is on 3x drops, so, if you are playing vanilla, divide by 3.
