Comparison of methods for counting the number of elements in PHP and Python
Methods in PHP:
1. For arrays - count()
2. For strings in utf8 - strlen()
3. For strings in Cyrillic and other encodings that occupy more than 1 byte - mb_strlen()
In Python, the len() method is used in all cases.
