New PIVOTBY Function in Excel
Microsoft just released 3 brand New Functions in Excel - GROUPBY, PIVOTBY & PERCENTOF in Excel. These functions will now solve a lot of Aggregation difficulties we used to face earlier. There has been a significant update in existing BYROW & BYCOL Functions as well.
In this video, we shall explore PIVOTBY Function and explore how we can use LAMBDA inside PIVOTBY Function to do Conditional Total (So now we have 2 more LAMBDA Helper functions - GROUPBY & PIVOTBY).
Our steps would be -
1) UNPIVOT
2) Transform Row/Column Field Columns as desired
3) PIVOT
