Every time I use Handy Drums, I'm more impressed than the last time! The quality sounds are great. The fact the Midi File Browser works with 3rd part midi grooves is excellent and helpful. Despite years of searching, I haven’t found a better and easier to use way to preview midi grooves and hear the drum sounds I have in mind.
While competitors package a sequencer and FX, I like the simplicity of Goran Grooves. If I need a sequencer, I prefer the power and capabilities of her step sequencer in my DAW - works perfect. I prefer dragging midi groove (files) inmto my DAW during the arrangement and tweaking anything in the piano roll editor. And, when adding FXs, again, I prefer the effects I own and the FXs in my DAW. It's easy to use Handy Drums in a multi-channel mode having a variety of FXs on each kit piece nd controlling the mix and routing in my DAW. It's exactly what I'm looking for!
