Experience smoother shifting and eliminate most of the sloppy feel of the stock unit with the added tilting functionality. The gated design makes it incredibly easy and quick to shift from Low or High to Neutral or Reverse while rock crawling or trail riding, without accidentally hitting Park.
This kit includes a custom machined Delrin insert cleverly placed in the console for smooth operation, a rubber boot to seal the lower portion of the shifter, and a brace that attaches to the stock frame for improved precision. The shift knob is also positioned lower and slightly back to accommodate most accessory switch panels.
Not only is the Viper Machine Gated Shifter essential for rock crawling, but it also enhances general trail riding when quick shifting between forward and reverse is needed to navigate obstacles or tight corners.
