Purpose of Human Creation
Quoted from :
https://dalamislam.com/
Everything that exists in this world is the creation of Allah Almighty. Including from everything that was created none of them has a purpose and benefits. Even small animal ants have the benefit of creating ants in Islam. This includes the process of creating human beings on this earth and all the contents of the universe.
Water that flows with cycles in human life, animals that continue to develop as a complement to human life, and so on. The creation of Allah created solely for the good of human life as well.
The following is an explanation of the purpose of human creation:
Serving Allah SWT As God
"And I did not create Jinn and Humans except to worship Me" (QS Adzariyat: 54)
Allah is the Substance of the Most High who created humans. God created man with his power and all-powerful power to make man have no choice but to serve and do what God wants. Even when choosing to disobey and obey humans are the ones who will lose out. Allah has provided the best way and a good impact will be obtained by humans. For that there will be many benefits of having faith in Allah SWT who will save us and not mislead us.
Become Caliph fil Ard and Do No Mischief on Earth
1. Man Becomes Leader-Manager on Earth
"Remember when your Lord said to the Angels: "Indeed I want to make a caliph on earth." They said: "Why do you want to make (the caliph) on earth someone who will make damage to it and shed blood, even though we always glorify you by praising you and purify you?" God said: "Surely I know what you do not know." (QS: Al Baqarah: 30)
2. Humans Do No Damage and Do Justice
And seek what Allah has bestowed on you (happiness) in the hereafter, and do not forget your share of worldly (enjoyment) and do good (to others) as Allah has done good to you, and do not do damage to (face) earth. Indeed, Allah does not like those who do mischief (Surah Al-Qasas [28]: 77)
3. Upholding Justice Among Humans
"And Syu'aib said: "O my people, sufficient measures and weights fairly, and do not harm people against their rights and do not make evil on earth by making damage". (QS. Hud [11] : 85)
Pursuit of the Afterlife
Life on earth is temporary. For this reason, the world is not the ultimate goal of human life and it is also not the goal of human creation to live on earth. True life is in the Hereafter. For this reason, Allah always orders to do good to get the reward in the hereafter, convey the happiness of heaven and the suffering of hell, and motivate in every worship and good behavior with a reward. For this reason, Allah guides humans to the afterlife by giving religious instructions. The function of religion is to guide people so that they are not complacent with temporary life and always pursue the hereafter.
1. Allah Orders to Race to Pursue the Rewards of the Hereafter
“So compete in goodness. Wherever you are, surely Allah will gather you all. Indeed, Allah is Almighty over all things” (Surah Al Baqarah: 148)
2. All goodness will be rewarded for a good afterlife
"Whoever does good deeds, both men and women in a state of faith, We will surely give him a good life[839] and indeed We will reward them with a reward that is better than what they have done" ( QS An Nahl : 97)
What humans do on this earth will get a reward.
Humans who choose goodness, of course, Allah fairly and even repay it more than many times in the afterlife. Whereas humans who choose the path of evil and disobedience, on the other hand, will get torments that are also very painful.
Impact If Humans Don't Know Their Purpose in Life
Humans who do not know the purpose of their creation, their lives will be tossed about and it is not clear which direction they will go. For this reason, we are grateful for humans who are aware of and able to live out their purpose in life. He will direct his way to the path of salvation not misleading ignorance. In addition, if humans do not know the purpose of their lives, they will act arrogantly and arrogantly on earth with their own rules of life. Arrogance in Islam is a bad trait and will actually plunge humans, because arrogant people never evaluate and meditate.
