Today we were called out for what sounded like a normal recovery on a wet gravel road.
But when we arrived, we found a fully loaded 8-ton truck that had slid off the road and into a ditch — in brutal winter mud and clay.
What followed was hours of hard work in slippery conditions, with vehicles struggling for traction and the situation getting worse before it got better.
Recovering something this heavy in winter conditions is never simple… and this one pushed us to the limit.
