Subnautica 2 is finally playable at a smooth 60FPS on Steam Deck OLED! In this video, I show how to get a much better Subnautica 2 experience using a DLSS mod together with Lossless Scaling / LSFG to boost FPS and make the game feel far smoother on Steam Deck.
Subnautica 2 is one of the biggest new survival games right now, with huge interest around its Early Access launch, millions of Steam wishlists, and massive player numbers on release. The game is also expected to keep improving during Early Access, but with the right setup, Steam Deck OLED can already deliver a very playable experience.
In this Steam Deck OLED performance test, I show the settings, gameplay, frame rate, and how DLSS + Lossless Scaling can help push Subnautica 2 closer to a proper 60FPS handheld experience. If you are looking for Subnautica 2 Steam Deck settings, Steam Deck OLED gameplay, or a way to boost FPS in Subnautica 2, this video should help.
