WHAT’S INSIDE THE
WHAT'S INSIDE THE #NETFLIX WOMEN'S CELEBRATION EVENT? Follow Tien to Indonesia!
As you all know, I was recently invited to attend Netflix's very meaningful #ReflectionsofMe event in Jakarta, Indonesia. This event celebrated International Women's Month, with discussions about the importance of portraying women on screen and the impact of women on the creative industry in Southeast Asia.
As a woman working in the entertainment and creative industry, I deeply appreciate this opportunity and the insights I received from renowned filmmakers and content creators. Tien was very impressed to hear them share their journeys in pursuing their passions, as well as how they always strive to bring fresh, multifaceted perspectives on women on screen to create empathy and understanding, allowing viewers to see themselves reflected in the images in the films.
Tien is also a fan of many Netflix films, and after this event, Tien understands much more about the ideation process and the meaningful messages that filmmakers want to convey in each film. Tien hopes that in the future, Netflix films will have even greater value in spreading their message so that women can have their voices heard.
Thank you Netflix for inviting Tien to this event, and I hope to have the opportunity to collaborate with Netflix on other events in the future 💗
