Dimashqiah the Liar دمشقية الكذاب
Shaykh Zaynud-Din Al-Makhzumiyy, the most famous Shaykh of south India, also founder of the Institute of Revival of the Sunnah. He is also a shaykh of the Shafi^iyy school and has a high ascending chain of narration.
He said:"The great Scholar, the expert annotator and pious Scholar, Shaykh Abdullah Al-Harariyy is virtuous. I have looked into some of his books among them, 'Al-Maqalat as-Sunniyah' (The Sunniy Articles) and 'Kashaf Dalalat Ibn Taymiyah' (Exposing the Deviations of Ibn Taymiyah), and became immensely impressed by them. Similarly impressive is his book 'Sarih al-Bayan fir-Raddi ^ala Man Khalafal-Qur'an' (Clear Expose Refuting Those Who Deviated from the Qur'an). Moreover, we heard that some of those ignorant people of sedition have issued warnings and allegations about Shaykh ^Abdullah and pay millions of dollars to keep people away from him and his students; but Allah protects and supports those who properly believe."
Mufti Ar-Raqqah, Syrian Arab Republic, Shaykh Muhammad Al-Sayyid Ahmad said:"Verse 62 of Surat Yunus means: [The righteous worshippers of Allah will have nothing to fear and be saddened by on Judgement Day]. Of those righteous Scholars in our present day is Shaykh ^Abdullah Al-Harariyy Al-Habashiyy may Allah protect him and facilitate goodness for him. He is steadfast in protecting the creed of Islam and its rulings.
We testify in all goodness about him and that he is a pious and righteous follower of Ahlussunah wal-Jama^ah, an adherent to al-Ash^ariyy by creed, to al-Shafi^iyy by school of jurisprudence and to al-Rifa^iyy by Tariqah (i.e. methodology of remembrance of Allah). Also, that he has taken the path of ordering obedience and forbidding disobedience and opposing the people of misguidance, guided by the lanterns of the Muslim nation like the teachings of the four famous schools of thought and others. His books are a great heritage and an immense benefit for the present and future generations of Muslims. All the people of virtuosity among them the righteous (awliya'), the Scholars, the Muftis, the pious worshippers, love him and testify that he is a master articulator and the hierarch of Muftis and the role model of practicing Scholars, and that his deep rooted knowledge in Islamic creed, rulings and Hadith is as solid as a mountain.
The people of Ahlussunah wal-Jama^ah are his beloveds and his supporters, while the people of sedition, misguidance and deviation are enemies to him. His mannerism reminds us of the heroes of the Muslim nation like Imam Abul-Hasan Al-Ash^ariyy and Sultan Salahud-Din Al-Ayyubi. In this regard, he is the immediate successor of the great Muhaddith Badr ud-Din Al-Hasaniyy may Allah the Exalted have mercy upon him. Praise be to Allah that He bestowed such virtues by which righteousness is accomplished."
