ASMR Slide Viewer (tinkering, repair, soft speaking)
Welcome friends! This is the first of two videos featuring some 35mm color slides, and a viewer to view them.
I recently bought a vintage slide viewer from eBay, to use for an upcoming video where we'll look at some vintage color slides. But, the viewer needed a little repair first, to get it working a little better, so in this video we're going to do just that.
First we'll unbox the viewer, and then take it apart and try to figure out why the light doesn't come on consistently. We'll talk a bit about the company that made this viewer, Sawyers. We'll learn a little bit about the simple electrical circuit that makes this viewer work, and then we'll see about fixing it up to use in the next video.
Yep, this video contains actual tinkering! Just like the channel art says! It's the best kind of tinkering - tinkering that makes something work better when we're done. Enjoy! ;-)
