Finding the universe's missing matter

It was an intergalactic search stretching almost 30 years, but the universe's so-called missing matter has finally been found.

Scientists knew it was there because of clues left over from the Big Bang.

Now, Associate Professor Jean-Pierre Macquart, from the Curtin University node of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research, explains to Nuala how it was found.
