Since winning the U23 XC World Championships at home in Les Gets last year Line has been inundated with questions about her goals and direction, but refusing to get sucked into what can become a stressful cycle of always looking towards the next big thing, Line is adamant on living in the moment and just wants to savour every moment. “Sometimes I want to say let me make the most of what I’m experiencing now and then I’ll think about what’s next” says Line.
We caught up with Line over the offseason to chat about what a year 2022 had been, being her first year on a factory team and winning the U23 World Champs on home ground means there’s a lot to decompress after a long season on the road.
Line is defiantly exactly who and where she needs to be and as she so eloquently puts it herself with the perfect amount of confidence and self-awareness “I am the main character in my own life and I don’t want to copy anyone.”
