Tridion Docs - Creating new content and sharing for edit/review
Authors with permissions in Draft Space can create a new version of a released component by clicking the tab in the document's component. Once this is created, the new version will be editable in draft mode, and the properties tab will show it as version 2 with its own unique GUID. Draft Space will also guide the user through the creation of new components, providing options for which folder to add it to, which template to follow, and general properties. Authors can share a link to specific components in Draft Space or Review Space for other teammates to collaborate on.
