Publix Charities Proudly Supports Junior Achievement
Publix Super Markets Charities proudly supports Junior Achievement, a nonprofit whose volunteer-driven programs teach K–12 students important work readiness and financial literacy skills. Participants learn through experience, inspiring them to dream big and reach their potential.
One example of Publix Charities’ support for Junior Achievement in our communities is sponsorship of select Junior Achievement BizTowns. In these model towns, students can pay their bills, manage restaurants, operate banks, and even vote for mayor. Publix Charities sponsors a grocery store in select BizTowns, allowing young “grocers” to practice a wide range of skills from basic accounting to problem solving.
