Did it work? did the easy fix and still didn't work so we tried this on a Nintendo switch has the black screen of death and the easy fix doesn't work, We found the solution at Tekkies, This does require micro soldering if your not comfortable doing this repair you can mail in for repair at link below. We replaced the Pericom audio video control ic chip P13USB / PI3USB30532 this is a $5 part on eBay
