If you're not proficient in VBA or simply don't have the option to use userforms in Excel, and you want to create a custom data entry form to populate your database, then you'll need to use another feature that will allow you to do this.

So here we have a client who's asked us to create a data entry form that will allow their users to add a country, city, and postal code to the database. But that's not all, because our client wants each entry in the database to be identified by a unique reference number, and this number must be generated automatically after each new entry.

The postal code entry must be numeric, and we need a visual indicator to show if the postal field is not correctly filled in.

The client also wants their database and data entry form to be protected to prevent users from making changes to the data entry form or entering data into the database.

And finally, he'd like the form submission button to appear only when all the form fields are filled!
