Here’s an interesting video pulled from Fazbear Entertainment’s archives.
From what I was told, this was in 1986 when Fazbear Jr’s was preparing to open. After issues with MCM and his own work, Afton partnered with Sally Corporation to produce all new animatronic figures for Jr’s, featuring more “friendly” designs and stricter safety standards (no exposed mechanisms, no spring locks, and weaker jaws to name a few). In this video you can see a demo of Toy Foxy, shot in Sally’s headquarters before being distributed to the store. This was a one of a kind show and sadly nothing like this would ever exist again, as Afton was described as being “remarkably difficult to work with”. Not sure what that entailed, but Fazbear’s would end up cheaping out, removing Toy Foxy’s stage and simply placing the figure in a kiddie area. Which would lead to the character being destroyed by children, consequently ending Sally’s partnership with Afton and mangling the only Toy Foxy figure in existence.
Some rumors have circulated about Afton altering the Jr’s characters as well, possibly implementing rudimentary facial recognition technology. This may have also been a factor in the souring of the two companys’ relationship, though that’s never been confirmed nor denied.
