In the late 1980s, Miami was in a choke hold by the Russian Mafia who ruled the criminal underground of the city. They were devastated in 1989 by Masked Maniacs who nearly destroyed their organization. However, they lived on, and two years later, they return to prominence, warring with the successors of the criminal kingdom, the Colombian Cartel.
