SONIC 2 HD is a masterful remake of the original game that captured the hearts and minds of many ! Remade from the ground up to a stunning HD Sonic 2 is a great reminder of what was the flagship title for SEGA megadrive, which was great enough to challenge the Nintendo's champion -Super Mario. During the 90-s SEGA came up with Sonic as a successful attempt to demonstrate its capabilities to do a great jump & run game which textures are rendered with the speed of its character - which says a lot, as the technology of this time was limited to many things, including the number of sprites displayed at the same time. Sonic used many tricks to deliver great and colorful picture and sound, without any rival from the Nintendo contender which lacked in these perspectives.
