Ways of Enlarging The Database:
You can enlarge the database in the following ways:
-Creating a new tablespace
-Adding a data file to an existing smallfile tablespace
-Increasing the size of a data file
-Providing for the dynamic growth of a data file.
Increasing the size of a data file:
Command:
sql- alter database datafile 'E:\app\Administrator\oradata\orcl \dfile1.dbf' resize 500m;
Providing for the dynamic growth of a data file:
sql- create tablespace test3 datafile 'E:\app\Administrator\oradata\orcl\dfile3.dbf' size 300m autoextend on online extent management local uniform size 5m
