Croon a tune, croak like a frog, hum, hoot, or holler—you don’t need to be Pavarotti to create beautiful shapes and patterns with the power of your voice. Watch the rest of this video to learn what's going on and how to make your own Vocal Visualizer.
By humming, singing, or talking into the Vocal Visualizer, you’ll be able to see sound as vibration (or pressure waves) and experience cool laser-light patterns that are reflected on a wall or other surface. It’s a fun and slightly psychedelic introduction to concepts such as Lissajous patterns and resonant vibration modes. A Pink Floyd soundtrack is entirely optional.
