It is not easier or harder to play with different gear. They're just different and need little tweaks to be able to control well. I've had experience with lighter and heavier pedals, chain drives, direct drives, super low tension, max tension, any other difference you can think of. And it's all great, they all challenge you to advance your bass drum technique and to stay adaptable should the situation require it. Thanks for watching!
