Introduction to OpenHFT, open source HFT libraries:
Java-Thread-Affinity, A library for declarative layout of thread across CPU. What difference does it make and when would you use it.
Java-Lang, A low level wrapper for Unsafe with GC-free serializaton/deserialization, thread safe lock-less off heap and share memory support.
Java-Chronicle, A low latency journalling persistence and IPC. Can be used for "log everything" models as it supports tens of millions of messages per second with latencies around 100-300 ns (between processes)
HugeCollections, An off heap, thread safe, concurrent HashMap which supports 100s of GB which notional GC impact.
