DayZ Standalone - Grenade Bug - It's Just a Prank Bro
Note that this is recorded during the 0.59 patch is is very likely to be fixed in a future patch.
We After reading and hearing about this bug we decided to test it out in action. We rigged it on the airfield for some gear hungry and desperate bambi fresh spawns to fall into it.
Here is a list of the times for each victim:

To replicate this bug you must do the following:
Stand by any container in the world (e.g. barrel, tent or a piece of clothing)
Put the grenade in your hand (Must be RGD-5 grenade)
Unpin the grenade
Quickly put the grenade in the container, drag it from hands to container inventory
This bug could be used to set up defensive traps in your base, e.i. you can have grenades spread out in your tents/barrels and gear. Your squad knows which grenades are unpinned and what gear is booby trapped while a thief will be blown to bits.
