Experts reported what pension will be available to citizens who do not have enough work experience to assign a standard payment. According to the law, if a person does not have sufficient work experience to apply for an old-age insurance pension or for some reason has not worked it out in full, there is only one way out. Of course, the Social Fund will not be able to assign such a person a regular pension, but they will not leave him without payments either.
In such cases, citizens are entitled to a social pension. In 2025, its size is just over 15 thousand rubles, while the average "regular" pension reaches about 23 thousand rubles. At the same time, there are conditions for receiving a social pension: its appointment is postponed for 5 years. Thus, women will be able to apply for it only at 65 years old (instead of the current 60), and men - at 70 years old (instead of 65).
