Install MYUI 4.0 Port | Android 12 Custom ROM | Motorola Edge 20 Pro & Edge S Pro
MYUI 4.0 is based on Android 12. It is ported from another (unknown to me) Motorola device. It comes with some additional features over our stock Edge 20 Pro ROM. The battery life is also more efficient on MYU 4.0 if compared with stock ROM.

Installation Guide -
1. Unlock the bootloader of your phone. (Go through the guide from the link provided below.)
2. Download and unzip the ROM on PC/Laptop.
3. On your phone, go to Settings - About Phone - Tap build number 7 times - go back to Settings homepage - System - Developer options - Enable USB debugging.
4. Connect your phone to the PC and allow USB debugging on your phone.
5. Open the extracted ROM folder on your PC and open CMD and move to the ROM directory.
6. Input command - adb reboot bootloader to reboot into bootloader menu.
7. Run the automatic installer windows batch file to flash MYUI 4.0 port ROM. The process will take some time so please be patient and wait until your device reboots into system.
8. Setup and enjoy.
Updating to a newer version -
1. Download and extract the new ROM update zip on PC/Laptop.
2. Reboot phone into bootloader menu.
3. Input command - fastboot reboot fastboot.
4. When device reboots into fastbootd input command - fastboot flash system system.img
5. Then just input fastboot reboot to reboot into system.
Rooting with Magisk and SafetyNet -
1. Extract boot.img from ROM and move it to your phone.
2. Open Magisk app and choose install - Patch boot image option.
3. Choose the extracted boot.img.
4. Now move the magisk patched boot.img to your PC in the folder where the ROM is extracted.
5. Now open cmd and change directory to ROM folder where magisk patched boot.img is present.
6. Now reboot your phone into bootloader menu using the command - adb reboot bootloader.
7. Now flash magisk patched boot using command - fastboot flash boot magisk_patched-boot.img.
8. Reboot device and your device will be rooted.
9. For safetynet download the modules - universal safetynet fix, shamiko and safetynet integration fix.
10. First install universal safetynet fix and shamiko, then activate Zygisk, hide the Magisk app and reboot the device.
11. Now flash safetynet integration fix and reboot device again.
12. Now safetynet will be fixed and you can use your important apps again.

Important Notes -
1. The minimum brightness is too high. To fix this, enable Extra Dim option and configure it to its dimmest. This is the only temporary fix as of now.
2. For stock camera to work, flash MotoCamera magisk module, reboot device and then install the MotoCamera apk provided below.
