Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization - Administering virtual machines on the Red Hat OpenShift SDN
When deploying VMs using Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization they are, by default, connected to the SDN. This means that they have no direct external connectivity without also connecting them to an external L2 network. But, that isn’t necessary! The VM administrator can connect to their VM, using SSH or RDP, just as normal by using a NodePort service to expose the VM temporarily for their needs.
This video walks through the process of connecting to a Windows Server 2019 VM, only connected to the SDN, using RDP from an external desktop.
