This video is about Suitelet & Client Script in netsuite.
1. Define a custom page in suitelet with filters and buttons for submit, save, clear, etc.
2. On click of the submit button, execute a function in post. Function used to submit data.
3. On click of the clear button, execute a function on a client script. This function clears filter or data values in the form.
4. To link suitelet to the client script, call the client script from the Sweet Late form by providing the function name and button name as parameters.
5. The API called Form Client Script Module Path needs to be provided with the entire path of the client script.
6. If the client script file is stored directly in file cabinet, the API Form Client Script file ID can be used instead of Form Client Script Module Path.
7. In the form button, provide the function name as a parameter to theclient script along with the button name and label.
8. Whenever the clear button is clicked, the particular function defined in the client script is called, it triggers and executes its logic.
9. In the client script, clear out all the field values from the form.
10. Once all field values are cleared, return back to suitelet.
