Here I show you how to use the handy website/tool https://www.appicon.build/ to create icon sets and launch image sets for your Xcode app. This is not particular to using Python or Kivy, but it was a necessary part of the process to creating the final product.
Xcode requires that you supply a set of images at standard sizes for both your app's icon and your app's launch screen. https://www.appicon.build/ takes care of that as long as you supply it a 1024x1024 pixel image for the app icon and 1242x2208 pixel image for the launch image. I used the free photo editor GIMP (https://www.gimp.org) to make my images the correct pixel sizes.
Kivy is an open source tool being developed by people in their spare time. They've just started to try to fund some core developers through monthly donations (they've been working unpaid on this framework for 9 years).
