Implement RLS On Power BI Field Parameters For A Better User Experience
With the introduction of Field Parameters in Power BI, report creators were given a tool to provide a better User Experience in reports.
But with great powers comes great responsibility...
In other words, if you add lots of fields to the Parameter Table in Power BI it will be difficult for report consumers to know which fields might be relevant for their analytical needs.
To solve this, report authors can set up Row-Level Security or Security Profiles in Power BI Desktop to guide report consumers and to create a much better User Experience.
